(# 5) FOOLISH BID - Has really come to life since sent around two turns over the inner track. He was a strong second over a good track on Dec. 1, and followed that effort with a going-away victory on a class hike on Jan. 12. Off of a five week break, he endured a wide trip against soft fractions and still made-up ground late. With a couple of sprinters stretching out, a livelier pace is likely to set up his late run. He has worked twice since, loses weight and makes his second start off of a freshening.

(# 3) MARINA MARKET - Really had no excuses on Feb. 18, setting a tepid pace under Coa, who might have fallen asleep at the wheel. That said, he still should have won, and has yet to come out on top around two turns. He could be outrun for the early lead here, and has not demonstrated the ability to rate in the past.
