Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (MOONLIT GARDEN) (4-1) - Consistent mare ships from Churchill Downs where she missed by a 'neck' in a G3 stakes going 8.5 furlongs Sept. 14. 5yo by 'Malibu Moon' won a stakes at Prairie Meadows Jul 6 and earlier this year was only a 1/2 egth behind champ 'Midnight Bisou' in a stakes at Sm Houston Park. She was working fast in Kentucky before heading here an I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Golden Award) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, she was puled up when far back at Saratoga in the G1 Personal Ensign Stakes Aug. 24. That broke a string of 8 straight solid efforts and she may have been injured in that contest. On the sidelines since, she's working fast and is a strong win candidate if ready.
3rd pick: #3 (Crimson Frost) (15-1) - Longshot is very consistent facing weaker, but has been competitive in her last two stakes attempts. Mare loves the Aqueduct dirt 9-3-3-2 and her 3 local wins are more than the rest of the field combined at the 'Big A'.
4th pick: #4 (Bellera) (5-1) - One of two from the barn of Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. This daughter of 'Bernardini' is making her first stakes attempt after going 4-2-2-0 facing weaker. 3yo has early speed and is dangerous in this spot.
