Freshened-up after that effort, his return at Gulfstream saw him finish 2nd to his stable-mate ("Take the Points), who ran a big race last week at Santa Anita (finishing 2nd to the "Pamplemousse" ). Looks "primed and ready' for a big race today.
2nd pick: #6 (Haynesfield) - Quality runner has a big edge, having won all three of his starts on this track going long. Versatile runner has won from both on and off the pace. Legitimate talent, and I almost put him on top.
3rd pick: #5 (Mr. Fantasy) - The main speed. New York-bred has been extremely impressive in his last pair, though he was expected to win those over "soft" competition. His type of speed is always dangerous.
