He's racing second back from a nine week break, he's moving from dirt to grass and is stretching out in distance. Can factor in this spot.
3rd pick: #3 (Smarter) (5-1) - Gulfstream shipper is lightly-raced and is dropping a bit for his first since Feb. 26. Three-year-old returns a NEW gelding and this home bred has been bumped heavily at the break in both starts. A strong factor with a trouble free beginning.
4th pick: #11 (Bootlegger) (5-1) - French bred is the second of the pair from Bill Mott. He 'hit the gate' when debuting at Gulfstream March 22 and made up some ground late. Blinkers go on and he's a threat if able to avoid a wide trip from his outside draw.
