2nd pick: #7 (She's a Black Belt) (12-1) - Longshot is facing winners for the first time and does so against stakes competition. A speed/stalker by the swift 'Jimmy Creed,' this $150K purchase is working fast, draws a good post, and I think she's dangerous at a big price.
3rd pick: #1 (Enliven) (2-1) - One of two entered by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, and the pair race as separate betting interests. The morning line favorite, she received a poor ride here Dec. 1 in a nine-furlong stakes. Given some time off, she's back sprinting, has blinkers on, and has the rail. This Godolphin runner is in the win mix at a short price.
