A home bred by 'Bustin Stones', she's a perfect three for three against New York breds and she also has positive wet track experience.
2nd pick: #6 (Kid Is Frosty) (5-1) - She's been competitive in all her starts 5-1-3-1 and broke her maiden here at 6 furlongs Feb. 23. In her follow up March 31, she raced wide when finishing 2nd of 9, beaten just over a length facing state bred optional-$75K claimers/n1x foes. A daughter of 'Frost Giant', she has a stalking style and that should play well against this group.
3rd pick: #5 (Newly Minted) (5-2) - A $110K purchase, she was a very impressive gate-to-wire maiden winner by almost 6 lengths when debuting here in the mud going 6 furlongs just one week ago. Filly is an obvious contender if that initial effort is repeatable.
4th pick: #9 (Bangle Gal) (6-1) - One of two maidens entered, she ships from the Fair Grounds where she rallied to finish third of 12, beaten 2 lengths debuting against ;open' company Feb. 16. From a good barn (Mike Stidham), she worked a very fast half-mile from the gate at Keeneland Feb. 16 and it's noted that Manny Franco takes the mount.
