2nd pick: #7 (Carried Interest) (4-1) - Lightly raced son of the speedy "Henny Hughes" stretches out off a very impressive sprint win on Jan. 5th. It was his second back from a seven month layoff, a career best, and colt will be trying a two-turn distance for the first time.
3rd pick: #6 (Midnight Taboo) (4-1) - Colt had some promise earlier in his career when in the barn of Todd Pletcher. Colt just missed here last out, and was only a 1/2 length back of "Palmer." Claimed that day by Leah Gyamarti for $50K, she brings him back a month later at the same level. 4yo by "Langfuhr" must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #2 (Fortify) (2-1) - One of two entered by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, and the pair race uncoupled. Godolphin owned colt has talent and a very fast recent bullet half-mile breeze at Belmont. Dangerous with his best.
