2nd pick: #11 (Merger of Banks) (10-1) - Longshot raced both wide and evenly when finishing just over three lengths in back of 'Lutheran Rags' here Nov. 4. It was his best n three starts and he's clearly improving.
3rd pick: #5 (Panama Ed) (6-1) - Stretch runner gets a big jockey change to Javier Castellano. Gelding has had excuses in in all six starts and is a late threat at a square price.
4th pick: #12 (Zenato) (5-1) - Gelding tired after a very wide trip when debuting here Nov. 3. In a hot barn (Jim Bond) and this home bred is moving of the rail to an outside post. Must be left in the mix.
5th pick: #9 (Three Goals) (4-1) - He was three lengths back of "Lutheran Rags' last out while a long 'neck' in front of 'Merger of Banks'. May grab a share, but believe he'll be over-bet a bit.
