2nd pick: #1 (Mr. Ames) - Good out of town barn (L. Craig Cox) doesn't ship in often, but this gelding by "Mineshaft" finished a strong pace-setting/pressing second last out facing "open" allowance foes at Mountaineer Park and earned a nice "figure." Race was his first in three months and today this speedster draws the rail. Threat at a nice price.
3rd pick: #7 (Modern Child) - He was scratched out of a similar spot earlier in the meet and this colt by "Prime Timber" will be racing for the first time since April 9th. Working OK, Dominguez is aboard, and this colt is a threat if ready.
