Very wide when debuting in a longer grass race at Belmont, trainer Chad Brown (27% second time out) switches her from turf to dirt (40%) and shortens her up in distance (28%). She has the rail and Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard.
2nd pick: #4 (China Rider) (5-2) - Filly has finished 2nd in three of five starts racing on conventional dirt. Canadian bred did so here at this level and distance Jan. 15 and has worked four times since. Stretch threat.
3rd pick: #5 (Hexameter) (9-2) - Claimed out of her debut at Saratoga for $50,000 Aug. 31, 3yo has been on the sidelines since. Working steadily , she's from a barn (J P Terranova II) that does well from limited opportunities.
4th pick: #3 (Liam's World) (8-1) - Grey filly raced evenly when finishing 4.5 lengths in back of 'China Rider' here Jan. 15. It was a nice improvement over her debut, and she may grab a share at a big price with another step forward.
