Premium Pick

Top pick: #7 (TIPITINA) - Gulfstream shipper has been showing early speed facing tougher "open" opposition and is nicely spotted today by "Hall of Famer" H. Allen Jerkens. Grey home-bred by "Holy Bull" drops way down in price and faces fellow New York-breds for the first time. She'll be tough to beat with a "clean" break.

2nd pick: #2 (Jillistana) - Much improved in her last pair, filly has set the pace and held to finish second in each. Both of those have come on this surface, the latest on April 11th being a career best. Has the rail and should be involved from start to finish.

3rd pick: #5 (Pogonia) - Has some speed/stalking ability, but the top two picks are faster and this filly seems to have lavelled off a bit. Latest effort saw her finish third and that came first off a claim by John Parisella.

4th pick: #4 (Our Pink Ribbon) - Lightly-raced filly by "Prime Timber" chased and weakened racing for $25K April 11th. That was her first since late August at Saratoga and trainer Bruce Brown will drop her down in price and has her making back to back starts for the first time.
