It was his first since breaking his maiden Sept 19 at Belmont. He's worked nicely for this attempt and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin adds Lasix (a 25% winning move by him).
2nd pick: #4 (Flexibility) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Chad Brown and the pair race uncoupled. New York bred styed on gamely to finish second here to 'Mohaymen' in local Nashua Stakes (G2) Nov 4. Colt worked a bullet half-mile Nov 23 and should like this 1 1/8th mile distance.
3rd pick: #1 (Donegal Moon) (12-1) - $220,000 son of 'Malibu Moon' ships back from Keeneland where he was a wire-to-wire maiden winner going a mile Oct 23. He has the rail and it's the dangerous combo of trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey John Velazquez.
4th pick: #2 (Sail Ahoy) (5-1) - No-speed type appears to be the type that should enjoy longer distances. He rallied to finish a close up third last out to 'Mohaymen' and 'Flexibility.' Working fast since and trainer 'Shug' McGaughey adds blinkers.
5th pick: #6 (Gift Box) (4-1) - The second of the Chad Brown runners, he's been freshened up since breaking his maiden going 8.5-furlongs at Belmont Oct 3. Working fast for this attempt and Castellano stays aboard.
