Premium Pick

Top pick: #7 (DETAIL) (5-1) - Filly has raced evenly in both starts, one each on turf and dirt. She had some traffic issues last out on a sloppy track and trainer Chad Brown has worked her three times since. He's stretching her out and Irad Ortiz Jr. stays aboard.

2nd pick: #1 (Jules N Rome) (7-2) - Speedy sort has been competitive in both starts and is moving out in the gate after having to be sent hard from an inside post last out. Grey filly by "Dunkirk" should be involved from start to finish and is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #13 (Majestic Jessica) (4-1) - Filly stretches out and draws a nice outside post after running a career best figure here Nov. 8. Home bred was entered for the main track only and her connections get their wish.

4th pick: #6 (Viva Malala) (8-1) - Debuting home bred by "Malibu Moon" is bred for the grass but trainer Chris Clement (23% first out) keeps her in on the sloppy surface. Her works are of the stamina building type and she may need this race.

5th pick: #3 (Cool Temper) (12-1) - The field's most experienced maiden has shown some improvement in her last pair and longshot may do some damage at long odds.
