2nd pick: #1 (Queen Kahen) (7-2) - Filly moves up just a bit in class and is cutting back a furlong. Speed/stalker checked in second going 7 furlongs at Belmont facing $32K starter-allowance foes Oct. 18. Competitive in all three starts on the grass, she has a ground-saving post and is dangerous.
3rd pick: #3 (Bean Counter) (9-2) - A $220,000 lightly raced filly by 'Into Mischief' broke her maide in wire-to-wire style at this 6 furlong distance for a $40K tag Sept. 22 at Belmont. Only her second start, it was her first since debuting Feb. 2 at Gulfstream. From the Pletcher barn, she has room for upside and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Tiple) (5-1) - Irish import rallied to miss by a 'nose' at this level going 7 furlongs at Belmont Oct. 2. Strong finisher should receive a fast and/or contested pace to close into and is a late threat.
