It was her first facing winners and it earned her the highest figure any of these has reached. She has the rail, a sharp recent work, and filly gets top billing.
2nd pick: #3 (Filly Joel) (4-1) - The interesting filly was an easy 6.5 length maiden winner Oct. 25 at Belmont Park. By far her best, it was her first beyond 6 furlongs and she's been working fast since. This is her home track as trainer Rudy Rodriguez is the only major stable to 'bed down' at Aqueduct year round.
3rd pick: #4 (A Positive Spirit) (5-1) - This daughter of 'Pioneer of the Nile' ships from Kentucky where she broke her maiden going a mile at Churchill Downs Nov. 8. Well backed in all three starts, before heading here filly worked a bullet half-mile Nov. 25 at Keeneland.
4th pick: #7 (Molto Bella) (3-1) - Following an even debut June 29 at Churchill Downs, this filly was treated with Lasix and has gone 3-1-2-0 since. Stakes placed going a mile Oct. 28, she should like this 9-furlong distance. A late threat.
