Premium Pick

Top pick: #4 (MINESWEPT) - He's improved noticeably since a trainer switch to Rudy Rodriguez and colt has been competitive in every start this year(6-1-2-2). Last out he finished a close-up third in a $125K stakes on New York Preview day at Belmont on Oct. 22. Four-year-old son of "Mineshaft" loves this distance (9-3-2-1), has a stalking style, and is the choice in a competitive contest.

2nd pick: #6 (Southbeachsandy) - Gelding has been freshened-up since finishing second at this level and distance at Belmont Park on Oct. 7. Lightly-raced and competitive, in the Rick Dutrow barn, and this 3-year-old has finished second in four of five starst at this trip.

3rd pick: #8 (Good Karma) - He's (3-2-0-1) since getting a trainer up-grade via a claim to Chris Englehart last January. Grey gelding by "Buddha" is four for eight at this distance, is lightly raced this year, and finished third at this level two back at Belmont.
