Premium Pick

Top pick: #1 (GREELEY'S LAW) - He disappointed here several times last winter, but has returned from a two month break during the summer a better horse. Racing back into shape and last out he rallied strongly to finish second at Belmont when trainer Glenn Disanto dropped him down to this price for the first time. Wins this with a repeat of that effort.

2nd pick: #5 (Gypsy Warrior) - Another who likes to "kick it in late," this gelding should love this 7 furlong distance, which he's trying for the first time. Three-year-old by "Desert Warrior" has been competitive at shorter trips, but has had too much to do turning for home. Contends today.

3rd pick: #13 (Rumbletown) - Speedy sort finished a pace-setting second at Belmont on Oct. 16 at this trip racing for $20K. Drops slightly, has a nice outside post to "gun" from and is in the win mix.

4th pick: #11 (Taconic Knight) - Another that has some speed, but this grey gelding by "Eltish" hasn't raced since March 4th. Several of his works are very fast and he's the "wild card" in this contest.
