Top pick: #1 (FERZETTI) (5-2) - One of two fillies entered by trainer Gary Contessa, and the pair race uncoupled. This daughter of "Munnings" missed by a "neck" in her first pair at Delaware Park, then had a troubled trip at Belmont when finishing fourth there on Oct. 8th. Lasix is added, and she breaks from the rail. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #2 (Gabby's Brown) (2-1) - The probable favorite, filly by "Big Brown" chased and finished second when debuting at Belmont on Oct. 8th. She was two lengths better than "Ferzetti" that afternoon and is an obvious win candidate in this spot.

3rd pick: #7 (Samus) (3-1) - The second of the Contessa pair, she raced evenly after a "troubled" break when debuting here for a $40K tag Oct. 29th. Claimed that day by Contessa, he brings her back quickly and adds both Lasix and Irad Ortiz, Jr. In the mix.

4th pick: #6 (Birkenhead) (6-1) - No speed type rallied while wide to finish fourth here last out, and she had "trouble" at the break. Useful effort, and it's Manuel Franco off and John Velazquez on. Stretch threat.
