Top pick: #3 (STELLARS THEORY) - Well bet in her debut here in late Nov. facing special weights, she showed good early speed while racing wide before tiring down the stretch. Freshened up since by trainer Dom Galluscio, she's training steadily for her return, drops into a claimer, and draws a better post. Barn does well second time out, and this filly is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Fiddlers Diva) - Probable favorite finished a pace-pressing third here last out at this level and distance and did so despite "bobbling" at the break. Improving, has good speed and Dominquez takes the re-ride.
3rd pick: #4 (Kitty Kat Rockstar) - Drops slightly for her first start in 2 1/2 months and trainer Carlos Martin will take this home-bred's blinkers off for today's attempt. Filly raced well in her first pair facing tougher, then just didn't fire at all in her latest when she had the blinkers on for the firt time. A win candidate.
