Top pick: #1 (TYPHOON CAT) (2-1) - Gelding runs second back off a two month break, and will go turf to dirt this afternoon. Veteran has run well on this surface without winning (6-0-2-2), and his speed/stalking fits nicely with this group.
2nd pick: #3 (J W Blue) (5-2) - Once classier type moves up in price after falling a "nose" short here at this distance racing for a 412.5K tag a week ago. Strong finisher is from the Jacobson barn, and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Drink With Pride) (4-1) - He ships back from Penn National where he raced wide & evenly in an entry-level allowance on Oct. 26th. Drops, he's won here in the past, and this is his favorite distance (11-2-1-3).
4th pick: #6 (Junior Officer) (8-1) - He runs first off a Gary Sciacca claim, and he brings him back in 12 days with a slight raise in price. No speed type can grab a share, but he'll need some pace help for anything more than that.
