He was competitive in a pair at the Fair grounds in Dec. and runs today off a 2 1/2 month layoff. He also has a new trainer (John Parisella 20% with new arrivals) and blinkers go on. Lots of things to like.
2nd pick: #6 (Inner Compass) - $190,000 5-year-old by "Giant's Causeway" tired last November when he debuted facing special weights,and trainer Nick Zito will race him for $16K today. Working steadily and this win threat is the probable heavy favorite.
3rd pick: #1 (Go to the Net) - Veteran maiden has improved in his last pair and missed by a head last out racing at just under this price. Has the rail and can factor again in this spot.
