Top pick: #6 (MINE OVER MATTER) - Excellent effort last out as he battled from start-to-finish and was passed in the last 50 yards by a first-time starter from Philadelphia Park. Race was the best he's ever run and a repeat should be good enough.
2nd pick: #5 (Justtakemypicture) - Dangerous runner gets "blinkers" on and is in a barn that had a very good week (Scott Volk). Wide in his first local start after having a tough post (11 of 12), he looks set for a big effort this afternoon. Win threat.
3rd pick: #3 (Raffinator) - Barn (Jim Ryerson) had a "bomb" win yesterday but this son of "Raffie's Majesty" won't be that big a price. Excellent "bullet" drill showing back on Dec. 16 at Belmont and he's been working steadily since. Don't ignore.
