Top pick: #6 (EYESEEYOU) - Colt spent the first four starts of his career racing on the Woodbine "poly", and although he showed good speed there he was unable to get his maiden win. Trainer Steve Asmussen shipped him to Churchill in late Nov. and the result was a 6-length win over 11 rivals in his first ever on real dirt. Home-bred by "Latent Heat" is working well since coming east and Mr. Dominguez is signed on for this gelding's local debut.
2nd pick: #5 (Ganador) - Speedy New York-bred set a pressured pace here at this level and distance on Dec. 9 and held gamely to finish second to a "much the best" winner. Son of "Posse" has come back with a pair of sharp half-mile drills and will be involved from gate to wire.
3rd pick: #4 (Nick Rules) - Florida shipper hasn't startd since breaking his maiden at Calder in late July as a very heavy favorite. Trainer Pisnath Barboo had an outstanding year in 2011 and this son of "Peace Rules" can factor if ready.
