Top pick: #2 (MARGARET OWNZIT) (2-2) - She rallied to finish second here at this level and distance on Jan. 16 in her first off a re-claim by trainer Rudy Rodriguez. Nice effort and she gets a slight edge over #6 "Zimbabwe Lady."
2nd pick: #6 (Zimbabwe Lady) (2-1) - Daughter of Belmont Stakes winner "Jazil" broke her maiden here on Jan. 9 racing for a $16K tag. It was by far a career best and was her first since coming east from Kentucky. Strong win candidate and I almost put her on top.
3rd pick: #1 (Fee and Sugar) (3-1) - New York-bred cuts back in distance after breaking her maiden here going two-turns on Dec. 28. Stalker draws the rail and will be racing in a claimer for the first time.
