Min Woo Lee never got untracked at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, closing with a tie for 55th and four strokes over par for the week. Justin Rose wasn't sharp either, finishing even par in a tie for 39th, but even par against Lee's plus-four says plenty about which game held up better under the pressure of a cut-less playoff field. Rose also arrives as the defending champion of that exact event, a year removed from running away with it at 16 under, and that kind of recent tournament pedigree tends to travel. Given the form gap coming out of Memphis, Rose should be looking to win this matchup without much trouble. Lee's game has been streaky, capable of erupting for a low one but just as capable of the kind of scrambling week he just posted, and Bellerive's long, tree-lined test with thick rough punishes exactly that kind of inconsistency. Rose's experience and more controlled ball-striking profile fit a demanding, no-cut playoff course better than a player searching for form. Take Rose in this matchup.
