Jorge Campillo vs. Adam Svensson

Corales Golf Club is a long, open, bomber-friendly test along the Dominican coast, and staying under par without spraying it is half the battle with wind expected to be strongest on Thursday. Svensson has quietly done exactly that in his last two starts, missing the cut at the John Deere but staying under par there and again at his own national open, a sign his game is in better shape than his finishes suggest. Campillo has had a nice season on the European circuit, with a string of top-25s and a strong week at home in Ireland, but this is a different animal entirely, a long, wind-exposed American-style course a long way from the tighter tracks that have suited him lately. At even money, I like the player whose iron control has quietly held up under pressure recently. Take Svensson.
