Kristoffer Reitan's rookie season has one signature moment: a two-shot win at the Truist Championship over a stacked leaderboard that included Nicolai Højgaard, and it's a real, legitimate breakthrough. But it's also the outlier on his ledger. Strip that week out and his tee-to-green numbers land in the same range as Jake Knapp's for the season, while his putter has been essentially a non-factor, a rounding error either way. Knapp's has been the opposite: a full season of strong approach play paired with a putter that's actually gained him strokes, the kind of complete game that produces low rounds on demand, and he's carried a reputation for going deep with a dozen sub-65 rounds and a 59 already on his résumé. TPC Southwind's small greens and water on eleven holes put a premium on exactly the part of Reitan's game that's been the shakiest all year outside his one big week in Charlotte. A signature win is real, but one week doesn't erase a season of split numbers, and Knapp brings the more complete game into a course that will test both ends of it. Lay the number with Knapp this week; the complete game wins this matchup more often than the one big week does.
