Si Woo Kim was the story of the FedEx St. Jude Championship outside of Scottie Scheffler, running to a solo runner-up finish at nine under with four rounds in the 60s. Cameron Young was fine that week and nothing more, tying for 39th at even par, nine full strokes back of where Kim finished. Young is one of the longer hitters on Tour and Bellerive's stretched-out layout gives him a path, but a nine-shot gap in form from the week before doesn't close itself just because the course adds yardage. Kim's week in Memphis wasn't one hot round propping up an otherwise quiet card, either. He was under par in all four rounds, building steadily into the number instead of catching a single low one, and that kind of week tends to carry into the next. At close to a coin flip in price, the number isn't asking Kim to do anything more than repeat what he just showed. Si Woo Kim is the play here.
