Utah State is in the unenviable position of having to face USC after the Trojans were trounced 52-6 by Alabama in the season opener. The USC defense will be ready to atone for last week's debacle, but the Trojans offense also has a big problem after gaining only 194 total offense yards and averaging just 2.1 yards per rush. Max Browne was 14-of-29 with one interception and was sacked three times. Backup Sam Darnold finished four-of-six for 29 yards. The UNDER is 18-7-2 the last 27 games after a USC ATS loss and 10-4-2 UNDER after any loss. Utah State beat Weber State 45-6, racking up 428 rushing yards against the FCS school with only 100 yards through the air. Quarterback Kent Myers didn't have to do much other than hand off as he was just 11-of-17. The Trojans obviously will have some trouble replacing Cody Kessler at QB and Utah State's offense will have a much more difficult time in facing a furious defense waiting to redeem itself.
