Tulane Green Wave vs USC Trojans Point Spread Picks

Tulane enjoyed a remarkable season with an 11-2 straight-up and ATS record after finishing 2-10 last year and the Green Wave have plenty of incentive in the Cotton Bowl as they try to beat a Power-5 school and prove their season wasn't a fluke. Tulane has plenty of talent on offense as QB Michael Pratt has thrown for 2,775 yards and 25 touchdowns with only five interceptions. Pratt also ran for 395 yards and 10 TDs. Tyjae Spears rushed for 1,376 yards on 6.5 per carry with 15 TDs plus two more receiving. Shae Wyatt has 35 receptions for 692 yards and seven TDs. USC had to settle for a lesser bowl after missing out on the College Football Playoff and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams is hampered by a hamstring injury, but expects to play. Unfortunately, he'll be missing two of his starting offensive linemen as Andrew Vorhees opted out and center Brett Neilon is injured. Tulane has wins against Kansas State, Cincinnati and Central Florida and the defense is #32 in total yards allowed and #18 in pass defense. The Trojans are 0-5 ATS their past five bowl games and 1-11 ATS their past 12 neutral-site games.
