Tennessee suffered no repercussions from its disappointing loss to Georgia the week before and the Volunteers crushed Missouri 66-24 and easily covered as an 18.5-point favorite. Hendon Hooker threw for 355 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score and the Volunteers piled up 724 total yards of offense while pulling away from a 28-17 halftime lead. Tennessee now is 8-2 ATS this season and it is 8-2-1 ATS the past 11 meetings with South Carolina, including a 45-20 victory in 2021 as a 10.5-point favorite. The Gamecocks have lost two of their past three after getting routed at Florida 38-6 and they managed to gain only 44 yards on the ground on 23 carries. Spencer Rattler threw for 18 of 26 for 145 yards and no TDs for the Gamecocks and some fans are calling for coach Shane Beamer to replace him with backup Luke Doty, but Beamer says he is sticking with Rattler.
