Virginia Tech at Boston College

Virginia Tech hasn't scored fewer than 35 points in any game this year, an offense that just hung 35 on a Maryland team that had allowed only 14 points combined in its first two games. Boston College hasn't been shut down either; its 15-point floor came in its season opener against a tough Cincinnati defense, and the Eagles have scored at least 22 in every game since. Combine Virginia Tech's floor with Boston College's own floor, and you're already past today's number before accounting for how leaky Boston College's defense has actually been, allowing at least 16 points in every game it's played and never once forcing a team to work for it. Mason McKenzie has already thrown five interceptions for the Eagles, and handing Virginia Tech's offense short fields off those turnovers is asking for trouble against an attack averaging better than 50 points a game.
