Oregon at USC

Dante Moore has thrown nine touchdown passes without a single interception for Oregon this season, the kind of efficiency that doesn't show up much in a box score full of blowouts but matters enormously against a USC defense that's already been tested. The Trojans are undefeated, but their two real games against anyone besides an overmatched non-conference schedule saw them give up 35 on the road at Rutgers and 30 at home to Louisiana, both offenses with nowhere near the precision Moore has shown so far. Oregon's own one loss came on the road at Oklahoma State, and the response was an 84-0 demolition of Portland State the very next week, which at least says this group didn't let a bad night linger. Laying points on the road against an unbeaten, well-coached USC team isn't nothing, and USC's own quarterback has been outstanding in his own right, but the market still has Oregon favored away from home against a 4-0 team, and that's the market telling you which roster it trusts more once the schedule gets real.
