Penn State has been dominant through two weeks under new head coach Matt Campbell, outscoring Marshall and Temple 63-9 combined, and I had that total UNDER last week because Temple plays a slow, clock-eating style that caps scoring. Buffalo doesn't play that way. The Bulls have already given up 25 points a game on defense, and Elijah Holmes, their starting quarterback, is a legitimate game-time call after a knee issue kept him limited in practice this week, which means backup Jason Wright could be operating an offense that's already shown it can move the ball early against overmatched competition. Penn State is a massive favorite here, and a first-year staff building an identity has every incentive to keep the offense in rhythm rather than sit on a big lead in September. Buffalo's defense hasn't shown it can slow anybody down, and Penn State's own defense, for all its dominance so far, hasn't been tested by a unit that can put points on the board the way Buffalo has shown flashes of doing. Ride the OVER.
