Utah State came on strong after the first month or so of the season to close their last eight games at 7-1. It should be noted that the defense was a big reason for the success as the Aggies allowed just one of their last five opponents to top the 17 point mark.  Utah State however has been the better team over more than the last half of the season. The Aggies have been posted as a dog three times in their last six games and have won all three straight up, and one of the wins was against a very strong Utah team. Oregon State meanwhile, lost as an 11.5 point favorite vs a rather weak Colorado team. I think the Aggies are playing much more consistently on both sides of the ball.  Utah State is by far the healthiest team in this game with just one player on the injury report compared to nine for Oregon State.
