You have to again wonder just how good is this USC team? They seem to always generate talk of a national championship, but in recent years they have not really been in the hunt. They went to Boston College and lost to an average BC team, and despite a big win against Stanford, the Cardinals penetrated the USC 30 yard line in every single possession, but just could not score. It certainly looks like this team can be had, as BC proved, and I think they were lucky to get out of Stanford without a 10+ point loss, the way the game played out. Oregon State is off to a 3-0 start, but have not had a true test yet. The Beavers have some revenge here, and would like nothing more than to go to 4-0 and knock off the Trojans and likely become a ranked team, so a strong effort is in the cards. The Beavers have had two weeks to prepare and are 16-5 ATS off a bye week. Oregon State has had success in this series, grabbing the money in five of the last seven, and will hang around in this one.
