Old Dominion had a big offense in the FCS, and to some degree have carried that over to the FBS since joining. Last week the anticipation was just how many points they would rack up vs. lowly Eastern Michigan. I don't think 17 was the number most had in mind, but that wss all they were able to produce. Rice is 0-2 to start te season, but the two losses came on the road at Notre Dame and Texas A&M. They did give up 86 points, but Old Dominion is not on either of their levels offensively. Rice has a QB with little experience, and with the threat of ODU trying to speed up the game, I look for them to put the ball on the ground more than usual here to shorten the game and give the defense plenty of rest to stay fresh for four quarters. The Owls own strong numbers after allowing 280 or more passing yards in their previous game as they are 9-1 to the UNDER in their last 10 after having done so, and they also bring a 7-1 UNDER mark squaring off vs. a winning team. Make the play on the UNDER.
