The first thing that stands out here is a high-level program like Oklahoma St. is favored by just 7.5 points at the time of this writing. Logic says this is a trap, Oklahoma has not had a losing season since 2005, but their 7-6 season a year ago was one of their worst. Perhaps more telling was their 27-13 win vs. Central Arkansas where they gave up almost 400 total yards. South Alabama has brought back 18 players from a year ago, including their QB, and has high expectations this season. Oklahoma St. is still undecided about their QB. Their last game vs Arizona St. saw them with three different QBs under center, and we may see more of the same here. I like South Alabama.
