Ohio Bobcats vs UAB Blazers Point Spread Picks

BAHAMAS BOWL - There are certainly teams that exceed expectations every year in college football, but I don't think any team exceeded them more than UAB. The Blazers did not have a football team the past two years, but got back in the mix this season. Their season wins total was set at 2.5, and they blew that away by winning eight games. They also won five games outright as a dog, so this team is on its way to the Bahamas Bowl - what a reward! The Blazers earned it. They played against five teams that also made a Bowl game, and finished with a scoring margin of +5 against them. Ohio really stumbled down the stretch and head coach Frank Solich has not been good in Bowls with just a 2-6 ATS record at Ohio. The Blazers have an underdog pedigree, and here they are facing long odds once again in their Bowl games, but I have to make them the choice here to finish off a great and unexpected season.
