Notre Dame is unbeaten, with a terrific defense allowing just 16.7 points per game. They have not allowed more than 17 points in any of their games, including a 24-17 victory over #14 Michigan. The Irish have gone seven straight games UNDER the total and are 26-12 UNDER against the ACC. As great as the defense has been, the Notre Dame offense has yet to get going. The game plans have been super-conservative as quarterbacks Brandon Wimbush and Ian Book have combined for two TDs and four picks, which is astonishing for a 3-0 squad. The defensive line is great at stopping the run and continues to provide pressure. That is a good matchup against a Wake Forest team that loves to run the football to control the ball and the clock, ranked #15 in the nation in rushing yards. Wake Forest has a freshman QB in Sam Hartman, who has six TDs and five picks. They are off a poor defensive game against Boston College, but the UNDER is 11-5 after allowing 40+ points in their previous game and this total is far too high. I like the UNDER in this one.
