South Florida is a team that has made great progress over the last three seasons, and I think that continues this year. The Bulls winner of just two games in 2013, doubled that to four in 2014, and doubled that again last year in winning eight times. The offense that averaged 33.6 points per game returns almost in tact, and we could see that playing on a higher level this season. The Bulls produced 47 ppg in their final four contests last year, and topped that in just three quarters in their opener with 49, ending up with 56. Northern Illinois has had huge success nationally, and especially in the MAC. This is a team that was 57-13 SU over five seasons prior to taking a fall to eight wins last season. They opened the season at Wyoming, which appeared to look like a comfortable win, but as nearly a double-digit favorite they were beaten. Wyoming put up almost 500 yards of offense, and dominated time of possession. The question is, how can they slow down a very potent South Florida offense? An offense that is light years ahead of Wyoming in that department. The fact is that they can't. Take South Florida.
