Texas A&M has been succeeding on the recruiting trail, and after a disappointing 2022 season, The Aggies are ripe to compete for a national title. They return 10 on offense with rising star Connor Weigman at QB, and three very talented WRs. The defense is full of talented players at all three levels, and this is a complete football team. New Mexico is going to be in a lot of trouble here. The Lobos are off a 2-10 season and didn't win a game in the Mountain West finishing 0-8. The program is broken with just nine wins vs. FBS opponents over the past six seasons. The defense returns just two starters so A&M is going to score frequently here, and after the bad taste from a year ago, New Mexico is just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I like Texas A&M in this one.
