Nevada Wolf Pack vs Northwestern Wildcats Point Spread Picks

Jay Norvell takes over as coach at Nevada and will try to improve an offense that averaged only 25 points in 2016, which is not what Wolf Pack fans are used to after the Chris Ault years. Nevada has gone UNDER in seven of its last eight road games and Northwestern has stayed UNDER in 17 of its last 21 September games. Also, the Wildcats are 22-6 UNDER their last 28 home contests and they went UNDER five of their last seven games last season.  Nevada returns nine defensive starters, including three on the line, but only five starters are back on offense, which means it will take awhile for Norvell to get his offense in rhythm. Northwestern brings back eight starters on defense, including three linemen after allowing only 22 points per game while scoring 26 points per contest.
