Wyoming played into the wee hours Sunday morning as the Cowboys best Northern Illinois 40-34 in three overtimes in a game that was delayed due to inclement weather. The teams combined for 950 total yards, including 574 passing yards in the effort. Josh Allen was 19-of-29 for 245 yards and two touchdowns, while Brian Hill rushed for 125 yards on 33 carries. Wyoming was expected to have a much improved offense with nine returning starters and didn't disappoint. However, the defense has eight starters back and apparently still has some work to do. Nebraska started slowly, but scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to cover the number in a 43-10 win over Fresno State. Devine Ozigbo rushed for 103 yards on 6.1 yards per carry and the Huskers scored 43 points even though quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. completed only 5-of-10 passes for 108 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown. Nebraska likes to continue to pour it on after a big win as the Huskers have gone OVER their last four games after a 20-plus win and they've gone OVER in seven of their last nine non-conference games.
