NC State Wolfpack vs Troy Trojans Point Spread Picks

The Troy Trojans had a very strong run in the Sun Belt Conference, but they have struggled in recent years. Expectations are not very high this season, as they are projected in the bottom 10 of all teams in the country, and an eighth place finish in the Sun Belt. Neal Brown takes over as coach and he will be calling plays and directing the offense. He likes a fast pace with little substitution, but does have not a lot of talent, as the Trojans were #10 in the Sun Belt a year ago in scoring and total yards. The Trojans defense has a lot to prove, as they allowed 40 points or more five times a season ago, and is pretty much being rebuilt, projecting poorly vs. NC State. QB Jacoby Brissett was credited for turning the Wolf Pack around, going from 3-9 to 8-5 last year. He returns and against a horrible Trojans defense, so he should be able to produce plenty of points for the cover here. The Wolf Pack has all five starters returning in the defensive back field, and that should thwart any upset chances in this one. The Wolfpack is gonna have its way on both sides here, so give the points on NC State.
