Navy Midshipmen vs Virginia Cavaliers Point Spread Picks

MILITARY BOWL -  It is never a good year at the Naval Academy when they lose the Commander in Chief Trophy, and to Army in the same season. It sure looked different for Navy early when they opened the season at 5-0, but the wheels came completely off from that point on as they went 1-6 the rest of the way, limping into their Bowl with Virginia at 6-6. Virginia also finished 6-6, limping in themselves at 1-5 in their last six games. While 1-5 seems just as bad, the last three losses were to Virginia Tech, Miami, and Louisville. There is a sense that the culture is changing at Virginia under the leadership of Bronco Mendenhall. While Navy is home, there will be just as many Cavaliers' fans in the seats making the short trip. All things being equal, Virginia has played a brutally tough schedule to get to their Bowl game, while Navy folded against much less. Play Virginia on the moneyline.
