Montana State Bobcats vs New Mexico Lobos Point Spread Picks

Montana State lost 35-34 in the FCS second round to North Dakota State to finish the season 8-4. The Bobcats return seven All-Conference players, including QB Tommy Mellott and running back Julius Davis. Mellott shared time with QB Sean Chambers the past two seasons, but Chambers has graduated so Mellott will be the full-time QB after completing 60.4 percent of his passes for 855 yards and eight TDs with just one interception. Davis rushed for 718 yards with eight TDs in 11 games and went over 100 yards three times. New Mexico was 4-8 in 2023, returns only three offensive starters, and will rely on Bronco Mendenhall to revive the program after spending 20 years at BYU and Virginia. The Lobos allowed 35 points per game last season, and they are 11-32 straight up and 12-27-1 ATS the past four years.
