Minnesota Golden Gophers vs UL Lafayette Ragin Cajuns Point Spread Picks

UL Lafayette has picked off where it left off after earning a bowl berth in Michael Desermeaux's first season as coach and the Ragin' Cajuns are 3-1 after defeating Buffalo 45-38 although they almost blew a 45-24 lead against the Bulls. Redshirt freshman quarterback Zeon Chriss made his first collegiate start and was 22 of 29 for 249 yards and a TD with one interception. Chriss will be the starter going forward as Ben Wooldridge is out with a foot injury. Dre'lyn Washington ran for 103 yards on 13 carries for the Cajuns, who have a stout offensive line and they are #17 in the country in total offense yards and #4 in rushing yards per game. Minnesota managed to get two wins over Nebraska and Eastern Michigan, but then lost to North Carolina and as an 11-point favorite to Northwestern in overtime and blowing a 21-point lead. Athan Kaliakmanis has thrown three TD passes and three interceptions this season for the Golden Gophers, who are 0-5 ATS their past five games overall and 0-5 ATS as favorites.
