The Miami Hurricanes suffered a big blow in their opener, dropping a 33-16 decision to LSU. It leaves this team no margin for error in a quest to make it to the Final Four. The Hurricanes out-gained the Bayou Bengals, but a pair of costly turnovers did them in. Yes, they allowed 33 points, but played much better than that, holding LSU to under 300 yards of total offense. They came out mad last week and destroyed an inferior Savannah State team 77-0. Toledo lost a lot from their explosive offense from last season, and a 66-3 win vs. VMI may look good, but this is a huge challenge against a team that is going to be bringing it the rest of the season. Toledo's high-power offense didn't translate last year in their Bowl game vs. Appalachian State as they were shutout.
