Memphis Tigers vs Wake Forest Demon Deacons Point Spread Picks

BIRMINGHAM BOWL - Wake Forest has stayed UNDER in four of its last six games mainly due to high totals posted by the oddsmakers and this game is no exception. The Demon Deacons are allowing an average of 33.3 points per game compared to 31.5 for Memphis. Wake Forest held Duke to seven points and 251 total yards of offense in the regular season finale, and its three previous games went UNDER rather easily. The Deacons have gone UNDER in four of their last five games when following an ATS win. Darrell Henderson piled up 2,204 yards of total offense and 25 touchdowns for Memphis, but unfortunately he won't be playing because he's entering the NFL Draft. Patrick Taylor and Tony Pollard will take his place, but it still is a big blow to the Tigers' offense. The Memphis defense has taken its lumps, but it's on the field a lot due to the Memphis quick-strike offense, which will be hampered with the loss of Henderson.  Look for this game to stay UNDER the total.
